On May 17th, Dr. Mathew Anderson had the honor of attending the Meeting and Summit of Universities of the Andean Parliament in Bogotá, Colombia. This significant event at Universidad Americana of Bogotá brought together rectors of accredited universities and top educational authorities from member states.
One of the most remarkable moments was Dr. Anderson being among the select individuals who signed the Declaration of Bogotá, which included a pledge of over three million dollars in technical support and scholarships. He was privileged to be part of discussions on regional accreditation, research, and the transformation of higher education in the Andean region.
Dr. Anderson has been working in accreditation and assessment in Latin America since 2010 and has remained active in these efforts. This experience has further enriched his understanding and involvement in the advancement of higher education.
