Dr. Mathew Anderson is honored to announce that he has been awarded the “Orden del Gran Portón” by the National Foundation of Zipaquirá Funzipa in recognition of his valuable contributions to Zipaquireña education. This accolade was presented to him during the conference “Museums for Education and Delivery of Badges from Feigenblatt’s House” held in Bogotá, Colombia.
The event took place at the Museum Casa Quevedo Zornoza, celebrating Museum Week. Highlights included a keynote lecture by His Excellency Ambassador Otto Federico von Feigenblatt on the role of museums in education. Distinguished attendees included the Mayor of Zipaquira, the Bishop of Zipaquira, the Rector of Universidad Gran Colombia, and many other regional leaders.
Dr. Anderson expressed his privilege to be part of such a significant event and to be recognized alongside esteemed colleagues.
